Kid's Ministry Program
What makes DG’s Kids Ministry so Different?
Two words: Real life. In this day and age, it’s vital that we teach our children the Bible is more than just a dusty book of stories. We need to show them God’s Word connects to every area of life and is just as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago, so they will know its amazing message of salvation is true!
OUR MISSION
We Believe God Has Called Us to Help our children come to
KNOW Jesus Christ, GROW to be like Him, and GO serve Him.
Specifically, we believe that God has called us, in partnership with parents, to help our children:
- KNOW the Word of God deeply and the Lord Jesus personally.
- GROW to be like Jesus together and
- GO serve Him in their homes, church, school and community.

‘The 7 C’s of History’ is a catchy phrase that helps people remember the big events that have affected (or will affect) the universe: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, Consummation.
Most people look at the Bible as a book that contains many interesting stories and theological teaching. While this is true, the Bible is so much more—it’s a history book that reveals the major events of history that are foundational to the Bible’s important messages.
Sadly, generations have been brought up to see the Bible as just a book of teachings that is not connected to physical reality, and by and large deals with only abstract, spiritual things. This limited viewpoint helps explain why there are so many questions about how the Bible can explain dinosaurs, fossils, death and suffering and many other topics that relate to our real world.
If we hope to reverse the trend of Christian students leaving the Church during their college years, we’ll need to train our students in a Biblical Worldview. We do our best to delve into issues regarding the Bible, God, sin, dinosaurs, the Flood of Noah, salvation, astronomy, and more, and is all based on actual questions asked by kids. Answers are important. If children aren't given answers to their questions about the Bible and the history it reveals, they cannot defend their faith against a fallen world.
We endeavor to honor God by:
2 Timothy 2:15
"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
